I hold a post-master diploma in naval architecture and a master's degree in architecture, but probably the most important qualification is that I am a licensed skipper and I go sailing whenever I can. I share the passion for yacht designing with being a professional architect and academic teacher at the University of Stuttgart.

I focus my yacht design interests on vessels dedicated to exploration. I am passionate about finding solutions either for shallow-water cruising dinghy or ocean-going yachts in a maze of icebergs.
